Simple, not easy... and fundamentals.

Yesterday, while working through a challenge at work, this phrase came up in conversation. The individual steps weren’t complicated; just clear actions and straightforward decisions. But together, they added up to something that required focus and follow through.
It wasn’t complexity in the technical sense. It was the kind of work that demands coordination, patience, and the ability to keep others aligned while moving forward.
That’s leadership in a nutshell. It’s not always about solving hard problems, leadership is about staying present, consistent, and clear when the work is repetitive, when momentum stalls, or when others are waiting to see what you’ll do next.
Simple doesn’t mean easy. And leading through the “simple” stuff is often where trust and impact are built.
